This Holiday 2017, Chanel has skipped the tradition of releasing a decorated eyeshadow but has kept up the practice of giving fans a collectible in the form of a highlighter.  This year has been all about celebrating the persona of Gabrielle Chanel, and we end the year with a big bang. Chanel Le Signe du Lion is named after a line of haute jewelry from the house, but it also represents the star sign that Chanel was born under.  The Lion symbolises audacity, intuitiveness, passion and radiance… all the qualities of the Chanel woman. There are 2 shade versions that were released, but only 1 has been released in Singapore so far.  The one shown above is Or Blanc; whilst Or Rose will only be available in January 2018. The powder is fairly dense, but soft to the touch and so finely milled it almost feels creamy when swatched.  Chanel Le Signe du Lion is beautifully pigmented, and gives a lovely luminous sheen to the skin at the lightest sweep of my brush.  It can be built up further or sheered out easily as needed.
